“Our dignity is not measured in terms of our goodness. It is not a functonal dignity which we can merit or which is determined by our achievements. It is an inherent and inviolable dignity we are given by God, and a dignity we cannot lose. What we are challenged to do is recognize and respect the dignity which is [in all of us].”
Just a little quip from my Bib Lit professor on human dignity, and a reminder to see others how Christ sees them. Beautiful, unique, individuals whom He loves regardless of their past, present, or future acts.
